Many analyses require specific bottles and/or preservatives.  Please review the container documentation, and contact us if you have questions or need additional bottles.

In addition, many analytical methods require that samples be refrigerated from the time of collection until analysis.  Carefully review the sampling guidelines to determine any refrigeration requirements.

PACKAGING AND SHIPPING

If requested, Anatek Labs, Inc. provides insulated containers and “blue ice”or cold paks for customers who ship their samples. Samples must be packaged carefully and shipped in conformity to current approved EPA protocols for holding times.  Anatek Labs will not be responsible for costs incurred due to containers broken while shipping.

Our offices accept samples Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Deliveries outside regular business hours are by appointment only.  Before sending samples, please call our lab for preservative requirements and suggestions regarding shipping procedures.

After the analyses are complete, samples are stored at no charge for 30 days.  Samples requested to be held beyond 30 days, up to a maximum of 120 days, will incur a fee of $5.00 per sample per month
